How do I change my Wi-Fi network or password? How do I reconnect to my Wi-Fi network?

To change the Wi-Fi network name or password that the SmartFeeder is connected to, you must first confirm that your phone is on the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (not a 5GHz network).

If you are not aware of these details, please contact your internet service provider and they will help you create or locate your 2.4.GHz network.

SmartFeeder (2nd Generation)

  • Confirm that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone
  • Open the Petnet app and go to the Device Tab > Wi-Fi Settings

  • Enter your Wi-Fi password
  • Power cycle your feeder by turning the power button off and back on from the power switch
  • In the Petnet App, press Get Started to connect your SmartFeeder

Your feeder manual feed button will turn white once you have successfully connected to your new Wi-Fi name.

  • Turn on the bowl's power switch and press Connect inside the Petnet App
